A little while back, we learned that Goku Mini, Vegeta Mini, and Glorio of Dragon Ball DAIMA were coming to Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero as DLC. Gameplay featuring these characters were shown off earlier today in a new trailer.
As expected, Goku Mini and Vegeta Mini are able to transform into their Super Saiyan states despite being transformed into children. This typically provides a substantial power boost in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, so it’s generally worth doing.
While Glorio doesn’t have a transformation, he is shown augmenting his attacks with magic. One of his cinematic attacks has him manifesting a whip from his magic and then using it against the opponent.
Unfortunately, there’s no sign of Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta and Super Saiyan 4 Goku in the trailer. Perhaps we’ll see these forms added to Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero later on.
Of course, it should also be mentioned that these new transformations were access by Vegeta and Goku respectively while miniaturized and after reverting back to their adult bodies.
According to the trailer, this DLC is set to be launched sometime in April 2025. We’ll just have to keep an eye out for more release information in the future.
