This summer we’re expecting to see a mass overhaul at Old Trafford to create more depth and strengthen the squad through the recruitment of promising young players to carry the team forward.
United have expressed that only six of the current squad are deemed as unsellable, with Andre Onana, Lisandro Martinez, Diogo Dalot, Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Rasmus Hojlund deemed as vital to the clubs future plans.
This leaves the future of the rest of the Red Devils as uncertain with deals set to be considered for the right price.
With this having the potential of offloading a number of the first team squad, the starting eleven for next season could look incredibly different.
Reports from the Turkish media suggest that one of United’s key defenders is a step closer to moving from Manchester to Istanbul.
Bein Sports Turkey are reporting that Galatasaray are moving closer to signing right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The Super Lig team have successfully defended their league title, however have not won the Turkish Cup for five years having been knocked out this year at the Quarter Finals stage with a 2-0 defeat to Karagumruk.
Hoping to have a more successful cup run next season whilst retaining the league title for a third consecutive year, Galatasaray are looking to strengthen their defence this transfer window.
The right-back has emerged as the Turkish club’s main target this summer, with United asking for €20 million for the defender, however Galatasaray are sure of this lowering as the summer goes on.
Despite some injuries, Wan-Bissaka has been vital for United this season with 22 appearances, even covering left-back in the absence of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia through injury.
The report suggests that a four-year contract has been offered to Wan-Bissaka, with the Englishman keen to start a new adventure away from the Premier League.
