FV Major is back again in 2024 and will as usual take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

FV Major 2024 is part of many different tours, being a Challenger event for Tekken 8 on the Tekken World Tour, a Gold event for Guilty Gear Strive and Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising for the Arc World Tour and also a qualifying event for King of Fighters 15 on the SNK World Cup 2025 tour and finally also part of the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour.
Tekken 8 is by far the most stacked event with over 270 participants, showing that players are very hungry for that $300,000 prize pool at the Tekken World Tour Finals which will be taking place in Tokyo later this December.
Street Fighter 6, despite having no tour qualification, came second in entrants with over 150 players, while Guilty Gear Strive was next in line at more than 110 signups. Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising landed at over 80 combatants, Dragon Ball FighterZ at just above 70 people and finally King of Fighters 15 reached almost 70 registrants.
