Songs of War being sang in the coal city, the topic in all the nooks and crannies of the city is “War against Fulani herdsmen”,.
Men, women and children are talking about the Massacre in Uzo Uwani local government area of the state and the alleged rape of women by Fulani herdsmen at Awgu LGA. Many men and young boys are ready to pick up arms and fight this carnage, just to prove that they are not cowards.
One Mr. John who attended a youth meeting called by the Anglican Bishop of the state, to pray and discuss the way forward, and to prevent future deadly attacks, said the youths in attendance were agitating that they should be armed to defend themselves and their communities, since the government is not doing anything about the killings.

News came later that the government has flooded the state with stern faced military personnel from the federal capital territory. We hope this works out for the killing is too much.
John also exclaimed:
We have to prevent all these devilish activities, and the best way to do it is through prayer. I found out that the most potent and strongest power on earth is not political, or economic power, but the power of Prayer.
