From Villages to Cities: Koko Dan Shares Opinion, Credits Ben Ayade for Unprecedented Youth Inclusion

As a proud Cross Riverian, I am pleased to note that I have maintained my independence, having neither held government appointments nor secured government contracts or benefits from the government or politicians in Cross River State.

This independence enables me to provide an objective assessment. From 2015 to 2023, Cross River State experienced unprecedented human capital development. Young individuals were appointed to government positions based on humanitarian considerations, ensuring their financial stability.

In our villages, POS operators emerged, providing income-earning opportunities that grew over time. Beneficiaries could easily access these services for withdrawals and transfers.

New homes sprouted up everywhere, with a section of Calabar dominated by modern homes owned by young men and women who served in the Ayade administration.

The Calabar Immigration Office recorded an unprecedented number of international passport issuances.

People who had no plans to relocate to the city now owned homes in the capital. Some even obtained visas and traveled overseas. Modern automobiles became a common sight in our communities, owned by Ayade’s appointees.

The University of Calabar and the University of Cross River State witnessed the highest number of enrollments and graduations. Appointees enjoyed financial confidence, knowing that their salaries were secure.

There were numerous weddings, and choice locations became popular. WhatsApp groups for burials and marriages were well-funded, but nowadays, such groups struggle to raise funds.

There are no more appointments or benefits. All these achievements are a testament to the efforts of one person, our brother Ben Ayade, who shares our struggling background. Every right-thinking individual in the above category owes gratitude to Ben Ayade. Beyond his human endeavors.
Ayade possesses rare and epic knowledge that surpasses any scholarly list. His deep vision is akin to the majestic Niagara Falls, which I am fortunate enough to be witnessing firsthand.

I urge all of us to promote, respect, appreciate, and thank God for exceptional individuals like Ben Ayade in our midst. Sincerely, having traveled the world, I can confidently say that Ben Ayade is a rare gem.
