From Jean Grey to Ken Masters, check out this Hyper combo showcase for 30 new Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 modded characters

There’s something of a Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 revival going on right now, though a term more like “evolution” may be more apropos as a handful of talented modders have come together to add a whole slew of new characters to the game.

We don’t know the lengths or heights this will grow to, but we already have at least 30 modded fighters from beyond the standard UMvC3 roster that’ve entered the fray, and a YouTuber by the name of Glass has put together a showcase wherein we get to see all of said characters’ hardest-hitting super attacks.

There is a bit of overlap in terms of character identity as Resident Evil’s Jill Valentine, for instance, is a playable character in Marvel 3. Of course, this is the Resident Evil 5 version of Jill that differs greatly from her more traditional S.T.A.R.S. appearance from older games.

Some of these mods are of older MvC characters that did not make it into the franchise’s third numbered entry, such as Psylocke, Ken Masters, and the literal MvC2 version of Sentinel.

The majority of the mods in this video showcase were made by Tabs, but there are a handful of others who contributed as well. All links are available in the description of the YouTube video if you’re interested in looking further into or downloading them for yourself.
