She may not be all that popular to actually play, but Street Fighter 6 newcomer Manon still tends to turn heads with her powerful visual design. Montreal artist EdPanArt has an especially alluring take on the French judo and ballet-based combatant, and when we saw this particular piece we knew we had to check out his full portfolio.
Like so many others, Ed is a big fan of drawing Jury Han, but does so with a bit of a unique take on her hair. We also nabbed some images of Chun-Li, Baiken, Zero Suit Samus, and Zangief, a lone male, in our gallery roundup.
Juri’s hair has always been done up in a way that could resemble horns, but Ed takes this idea to the next level. Most of his multiple Juri pieces see the spider with her hair up into sharp points, which does feel like it works with her often prickly attitude.
I do have to take a moment and note that I can’t not see Dragon Ball Z’s Frieza in his second form when I look at Ed’s takes on Juri, and that’s nothing of a knock on the awesome drawings.
The “Here Comes a New Challenger” Manon card at the end of the gallery may be familiar, and that’s because it’s one of the finalist submissions for Capcom’s recent new challenger fan artwork campaign that will eventually be added into Street Fighter 6.
