Just like that we’ve enjoyed two Evo experiences with Street Fighter 6 as the latest franchise entry has now been out in the wild for well over a year. Lest we be tempted to think we’ve seen it all and know everything there is to know about the title,
MC Mura has a video that’ll almost certainly prove otherwise.
In his recent Street Fighter 6 venture Mura points out five important gameplay facts that you more than likely are not aware of. Some of these are more impactful than others, but the first one will likely save your life when you’re fighting against the powerful M. Bison.
The game’s latest DLC character has so much potential that we’ve been seeing the term “pay to win” pop up in discussions surrounding him quite a bit. While the jury is out on whether or not Bison is too much, it’s unequivocally true that he’s got some of the gnarliest rush down pressure in SF6 thanks to his Psycho Mine maneuver.
If and when Bison plants this delayed explosive on you, you’re gonna have a bad time, but Mura has a tidbit of information that may help you escape or thwart a few of those oh so painful Bison beat downs.
This first tip is the fact that Bison’s Psycho Mine has two different fuse timings, and knowing the difference can be a major help as doing so better informs you of what options Bison has in his deadly follow ups.
The regular version of Psycho Mine explodes after six seconds while the OD version explodes after just five, and that single second is a big deal when it comes to one of his most daunting set ups: Psycho Mine into throw into overhead mix up.
We’ll let Mura detail things out and show you the greater significance in the full video below, where you’ll also see a move from Luke you’ve probably never seen before, a peculiar nerf to Zangief, and more.
