Unfortunately for Leny Yoro, the start of his time at Old Trafford has been significantly dampened through injury.
Yoro moved to Manchester United from LOSC Lille this summer for £51.6 million (€62 million) and has been labelled as a “generational talent”.
However, taking to the pitch in the opening game of Manchester United’s pre-season tour of the United States against Arsenal, Yoro lasted 35 minutes before being taken off.
The centre-back had suffered a broken metatarsal and had to undergo surgery before his long road to recovery. Since the end of July, Yoro has been ruled out of action, missing the start of the Premier League, Europa League and Carabao Cup campaigns.

However, new details have emerged with Yoro being seen once more training at Carrington.
Leny Yoro gets back to training
Over the international break, Leny Yoro posted a video of himself running on one of the treadmills at Carrington, a massive step in his road to recovery.
When Erik ten Hag discussed the centre-back’s progress, he commented that he was “in the right spot” with his fitness plan.
Now, Yoro has passed another recovery milestone, getting back out on the grass at United’s training ground.
Whilst Yoro still has a while to go before he’s match-ready, this marks a step towards getting back into team training ahead of gaining his competitive debut for the club.
