Manchester Untied are already having in-depth talks with Ruben Amorim about his squad as the next permanent manager at Old Trafford.
Although the Portuguese manager doesn’t officially start until next week, he’s wasting no time making his thoughts known about who he wants to sign, and who he wants to sell.
This summer saw The Red Devils spend £200 million assembling a rejuvenated squad for Erik ten Hag before he was sacked in October. With Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee and Manuel Ugarte joining the club in the summer, the United squad already looks quite different to the end of last season.
However, Amorim is keen for even more change.
The club are already looking at Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich, Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves, Marc Casado from Barcelona and Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to join the squad.

However, Amorim has now told United that there are four current squad members who “don’t interest him”.

Sources close to Manchester United have revealed to TEAMtalk that there are four members of the United senior squad that Amorim wants to leave the club, as soon as January.
The 39-year-old sees them as surplus to requirement at United and so wants to cash in on them in the new year.
The four stars are Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelof and Antony. Eriksen and Lindelof are out of contract in the summer, so will be leaving the club then, unless United accept a discounted rate for the pair in January to make some money on their sales.
However, Amorim isn’t keen on retaining Antony or Casemiro, even targeting Kvaratskhelia as a replacement for Antony who has failed to deliver at Old Trafford.
With the Brazilian pair being paid £200,000 and £350,000 per week, Amorim and the United board don’t believe that the wages are reflected in their performances on the pitch and so want to make room in the squad and budget for new blood.
