Richard Arnold left the club as CEO at the end of last year, set to be replaced by Manchester City’s Omar Berrada on 13th July when his garden leave comes to an end.
Dan Ashworth is set to join as United’s new sporting director, with the Red Devils and Newcastle United trying to agree a settlement to release Ashworth to join Old Trafford sooner.
Jason Wilcox is also poised as technical director, covering the club’s recruitment department until Ashworth and Beratta can officially start for the Red Devils.
With Berrada now having his start date, it’s being reported that Richard Arnold is in a similar position with his new job.
I has now been announced officially that Arnold has been appointed as CEO of Norton Motorcycles.
Arnold commented, “I am looking forward to using my experience to assist Norton in maximising the opportunities ahead”.
Arnold’s resignation at the end of 2023 and the subsequent changes in ownership and directors are giving the fans hope of a proper footballing structure returning to UNited to support the Premier League team back to their winning ways.
With so much change taking place at Old Trafford, it’s interesting that INEOS has decided to stick with Erik ten Hag as manager, seemingly making his FA Cup win enough to save his role for another year, showing confidence that the Dutchman is still the right man for the job.
