Fleet Manager
- Seven-Up Bottling Company is currently recruiting for a fleet manager who will be responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating, and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, and replacement of fleet vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Acquisition and Maintenance
- Cost control analysis: Monitoring of budget performance
- Spare part Pricing: Periodically review market price to ensure optimal quality and cost.
- Designing and managing maintenance and fuel programs to optimize vehicle operations.
- Developing efficient driver schedules to maximize profitability and productivity.
- Registering and licensing all vehicles under management to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection to track maintenance needs and schedules, minimizing downtime.
- Tracking fleet metrics using GPS systems to generate repots on availability, idle time, and speeding incidents
- Developing and implementing a monthly maintenance schedule for all company vehicles to ensure ongoing operational efficiency
Requirements:
- BSC/ HND in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management.
- 5yrs+ experience in fleet management
- Distribution and Logistics Knowledge
- Additional qualification in logistics/fleet and supply chain management
- Good track records and organization skills
- Strong multitasking abilities.
