At least five people have been killed in a mass shooting at Florida State University’s Tallahassee campus.
According to police reports, two gunmen opened fire near the student union around noon on Thursday. One suspect was apprehended, while the other was fatally shot by law enforcement. Authorities have yet to release their identities.
At least four other individuals sustained injuries during the attack. The Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Hospital confirmed that one of the victims is in critical condition.
Videos shared on social media show paramedics carrying a victim to safety as chaos unfolded across the campus.
Residents have been urged to remain indoors, lock their doors, and stay away from windows, as the campus remains under strict lockdown.
