Plus Chipp gets a wild new move
The queen has been greatly missed by her adoring fans across the first three years of Guilty Gear Strive, but her subjects won’t have to wait much longer for her arrival.
During their Tokyo Game Show 2024 broadcast, Arc System Works revealed the first footage of Dizzy in Strive Season 4 plus some information about what’s coming for the new content.
Although it’s not a full gameplay trailer, ArcSys did show a battle intro between Sol and Dizzy to highlight the odd family provide our first beautiful glimpse at how the queen looks in-game.
Queen Dizzy is scheduled to release on Halloween, October 31, as the first DLC fighter for Season 4, and she won’t be coming emptyhanded either.
The developers also revealed a rough Season 4 roadmap for content releases tonight as well, which states a major balance update is coming to Strive at the end of next month too.
As part of the rest of the Season 4 roadmap, Strive is hosting a second open beta for their crazy Team of 3 mode from November 8–11 after implementing a bunch of changes following feedback from the first test.
They didn’t provide more exact windows, but we can see Venom is still planned for early 2025 followed by Unika from the upcoming Guilty Gear anime in Spring and then Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners slated for Summer 2025.
Besides the intro video shown, they also unveiled Queen Dizzy’s full character portrait for Strive for the first time to give everyone a complete look at her new design.
You can check out Dizzy’s intro video, her portrait and the roadmap below along with something special Chipp’s been cooking up.
