Apple recently issued a press release outlining the wearing experience of the Vision Pro headset, calling it the “ultimate entertainment device.” In the press release, Apple also briefly introduced the headset’s guest and travel modes.
Guest User Mode
After users turn on guest mode, they can invite family or friends to experience the Vision Pro headset but only have limited access to certain applications such as Photos and Safari.
Apple says that once guest user mode is activated, the primary user’s Apple ID account settings, Optic ID, passwords, Apple Pay, Persona, and health data will be restricted.

IT Home Note: The guest user mode was discovered last year in the visionOS simulator, which is part of Apple’s application development tool Xcode. The simulator shows that once the mode is turned on, it will automatically turn off if the headset is not worn for five minutes.
Travel Mode
After turning on travel mode, Vision Pro will optimize the stability of the picture, making it suitable for users who wear headsets on airplanes.
In its detailed description of Travel Mode, Apple warns that the Vision Pro should apparently not be used while driving a vehicle.
