A massive fire has engulfed Ibis Hotel along Airport Road in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, destroying properties worth millions of naira, including vehicles.
As of the time of this report, the cause of the fire remains unclear. Eyewitnesses fear that the flames could spread to nearby businesses if immediate action is not taken.
Despite the severity of the incident, fire service officials are yet to arrive at the scene. Meanwhile, hotel staff and guests are desperately struggling to escape as the fire rages on.
