Despite the meager resource from the Federation Account each month as in February 2016, the Executive Governor of Cross River State House, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade, still guns for big projects like the so called Signature Projects that is estimated to cost him over €500 million, etc. In this month the governor's media aides reported that Ayade has signed an MoU according to which Cross River State is expected to bring the whooping sum of $1 million for one of those numerous gargantuan projects. These are novel ideas no doubt but the question, where is Gov Ben Ayade going to get the money from!? His Excellency has not been able to demonstrate this.

According to this FAAC Allocation for February 2016, Ayade proves to his critics especially Princewill Odidi, Ifere Paul, Joseph Odok, etc that they were right anyways in suggesting that he goes for less complicated but people friendly policies that will not further jeopardise the economic future of the state, stall payment of monthly salaries, fund contracts, etc.

However, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Speaker of Cross River State House of Assembly elections, Elemi Lebo is obviously not on the same page with me when he said yesterday on his social media account thus: 'For those people with innate wicked heart for strive towards development in Cross River State, re-verify this anywhere, and justify your cheap blackmails and clueless write up as concerning what the present Administration is upto. God help us'.

I am again calling on the state government under the leadership of Professors Ben Ayade and Ivara Esu to review their public policy priority and try to get it right at this evidently early stage.
