Federal Allocation a Blessing or a Curse? —by Abang Joe Atelhe

Federal Allocation a Blessing or a Curse? —by Abang Joe Atelhe

Cross River is a state hugely dependent on FG allocation to function, it's not our fault we found ourselves in such situations but it will totally be our fault to leave it that way.
HE, Sen. Prof. Benedict Ayade is making sure in the nearest future FG allocation will be like a plus to us just like Lagos. To achieve this he has embarked on industrial and agricultural revolution, structures are in place and more ongoing in making sure this dream is achieved.
Recently the FG flagged off the wet season farming in Cross River which took place in Ayade Industrial Park, the park promises to be an edifice after completion in few months from now. Cross River is to supply rice seedlings to all the South South states Worth billions of Naira. The question is are were not ripping already from  the golden initiative of our digital Governor?
For critics who have never seen anything good about Gov Ayade at some point I don't blame you, you can hardly understand his way of doing things, because he has taken governance away from the conventional way you once knolew it. This day it's not all about waiting for month end, get allocation pay salaries, mend a few roads and build few schools building and the rest is history. No.
Gov Ayade constantly thinks outside the box to achieve things, critics see his project not to be achievable because they base their facts on what the state generates and what comes from FG but the Gov thinks otherwise. When the Governor travils to seek for investors it becomes a topic for critics to duel on, but we forget that these foreign investors partner with the state to get her working again and give her financial independence.
A day ago Gov Ayade allocated land to  Chinese engineers to construct a motor park and the Internet was on fire dishing blames and asking why he is using Chinese to build a mere motor park. Let me ask you guys one question, which of Gov Ayade's initiated projects can the state conveniently execute without partnership?
The motor park is going to be a modern one and as such the state can't afford to do it alone without partnership putting into consideration our financial state. So how is the willingness of Chinese to partner with cross River State Government the Gov's fault?
In all his strides to make Cross River financially independent, we throw it back at his face, do we some time sit back to think if all this actually becomes possible where our dear state will be in few years from now? To me FG Allocation is neither a cures or a blessing but should be a plus and the digital supersonic Governor HE, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade is making that happen in the nearest future, what he needs is our prayers and commitment to work.
As I summit, if deceiving people is getting the CBN to invest in my state with about 11b then Gov Ayade is on the right track and I encourage him to do more.
My name is Abang Joe Atelhe.
