Nigeria’s new international passport |
12 July 2019
Within twenty four hours ago there were insinuations that pictures of cows and Fulani herdsmen have been exclusively imbeded on the pages of the new international passport of Nigeria. Albeit, other imbeded pictures suggest strongly that there are pictures representing ethnicities from the six geopolitical zones of the country.
The later development has allayed the fears associated with the former development.
On other pages of the document are the Benin Bronze and other artefacts like that which are perceived to be part of our national heritage.
The issue of herdsmen on the passport may have been distasteful due to ongoing the killings by killer herdsmen. The killer herdsmen seem to symbolise violence, rape, carnage, internal colonialism, genocide, ethnic cleansing and mass murder.
