MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualified diesel mechanic and or trade test certificates advantageous
Previous Crop (potato & Maize) & Cattle farming experience advantageous but not a priority
Min of 5 previous years’ experience in similar role
Proven ability with:
Welding
fitting and turning
assembling
general mechanics
Tractors
Self-propelled sprayer & Irrigation
Knowledge in repairing Tractor, TLB, Bakkies and ability to work on Plant Machinery.
Workshop management experience
Maintenance oriented – general electrical, building, and plumbing knowledge
Ability to work in dependent and manage a team
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to speak Xhosa advantageous
Valid driver’s license
