Fans have been eagerly requesting a Waffle House stage for Tekken 8 as DLC. This eventually prompted a response from Katsuhiro Harada. He inquired about why this idea seemed so popular.
As it turns out, Waffle House locations tend to be a common place for drunken brawls in the United States. While most restaurants typically have opening and closing hours, Waffle House businesses are generally known for being open 24 hours a day.
MemzDev has recently released a clip on Twitter that demonstrates what it’d be like to play on a Waffle House stage in Tekken 8. This was done by recreating many of Tekken’s mechanics with Roblox.
Though there are tables and chairs scattered around the location, they tend to not get in the way of the fight. By simply walking towards a chair or table, the objects will be toppled over.
It would seem that MemzDev was successful in porting over Kazuya’s moveset into this Roblox build. The Waffle House location ends up with a giant hole in the wall as Kazuya seemingly smashes Marduk through the side of the arena.
