Manchester United right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka could well be on his way out as he enters the final year of his contract.

This is according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano who while speaking to Caught Offside confirmed the Englishman is not short of interest.

Wan-Bissaka may not be the most aesthetically pleasing but he is effective not to mention he perhaps is the best full back in the world in 1 v 1s.

According to Romano, there is no concrete plan or interest so far for Wan-Bissaka although he has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford with whispers of being used in a swap deal with Inter Milan for right back Denzel Dumfries.

“The Premier League could be an option for Dumfries, but at the moment a swap deal involving Dumfries and Aaron Wan-Bissaka is not being discussed. This swap deal is not expected, but let’s see what United decide to do with the right-back position,” Romano stated.

The Italian journalist alao confirmed there has been interest for the Wan-Bissaka since December but there still are no concrete negotiations in the works.

“As for Wan-Bissaka, there’s been interest in him since December but at the moment, I’m not aware of negotiations for the player. It could be one to watch in the summer, because with one year left on his contract Man United could be open to selling him in case they receive a good proposal,” Romani stated.

It remains to be seen what United decide especially with him going into the final year of his contract and many being of the opinion he is not Manchester United quality.
