Manchester United have reportedly offered a new contract to young, promising attacker Bendito Mantato.
This is as reported by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who reports The Red Devils are very keen on securing the young winger’s future to fend off growing interest for the highly-rated youngster.
“Manchester United have offered a new deal to 16 year old winger Bendito Mantato, including potential pact for future pro-contract. Up to Mantato now, he’s considering the proposal while many important clubs are keen on signing him on a free by paying compensation”
Romano wrote on his X account.
Mantato could develop into an important first-team player for Manchester United with the right guidance.
He has the potential to develop into a useful player for the Red Devils, and it will be interesting to see if he’s ready to commit his long-term future to the club.
The young winger is incredibly talented, and his play style has been on occasion compared to that of Arsenal’s own Bukayo Saka.
Bendito has been with the club since he was nine years old.
He made his debut for the U18 two years ago, aged just 14. He has also represented England at the youth level and recently made his debut for the Three Lions U16 team.
Still only 16, he is already catching the eye of several top Premier League clubs, and it is precisely why United are in a rush to secure his future.
Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world and the opportunity to play for them will be quite attractive for any player.
The talented young winger does not have any reason to force an exit from Old Trafford, and therefore it is fair to assume that he could agree to the new deal on the table.
Manchester United have also included an agreement for a future professional contract with the player in his new deal.
