Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the fabrication team, including welders, fabricators, and other workshop staff.
Ensure fabrication projects are completed within specified timelines and meet quality and safety standards.
Interpret and review blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure proper execution.
Monitor and maintain equipment, tools, and materials to support efficient workflow and maintain safety standards.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify accuracy, adherence to specifications, and resolve any issues that arise.
Train, mentor, and support team members, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Communicate with project managers and other departments to coordinate schedules, resolve challenges, and meet client requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in welding, fabrication, or related field is preferred.
Minimum of [10] years’ experience in fabrication, with at least [10] years in a supervisory role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and productivity.
Knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding processes, and metal properties.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
