David M. Benett and Dave Benett are known for their roles in WireImage. But did you know they’re also parents? Yeah, they juggle parenthood with their acting careers. They’ve even worked together once. It was in the 2016 action-comedy The Brothers Grimsby. Or, as it’s known in the U.K., just Grimsby.
In the film, Cohen played a dim soccer hooligan. He’s so committed to his roles, he even went to the premiere in character. Fisher, on the other hand, played an MI-6 agent. Talk about a power couple, right?
Fisher was once asked who her favorite-ever co-star was. Her answer? “I have to pick my husband.” She wouldn’t want to not pick him. He’s her favorite, obviously. They had a blast working together. Shared a trailer and everything. According to Fisher, it was just hilarious.
She always respected him, she says. She’s been around so many big comedy stars. Seen how they improvise and stuff. But working with her husband? She saw him be the best improv comedian she’s ever worked with. She loved it.
Cohen’s known for being audacious in his work. But when he’s just being himself, he’s perfectly content going unnoticed. He doesn’t crave the spotlight all the time.
“We’re not A-list,” he once told the New York Times. He recalled a time in Hollywood when he was trying to avoid being photographed by paparazzi. He put something in front of his face when exiting a restaurant. A photographer shouted, “You’re only a B-lister!” Cohen turned to Isla and said, “Oh, my God, we’re B-listers! We made it! We’re B-listers.”
