Kailyn Lowry, who shot to fame on 16 and Pregnant, is now 31 and finished with having kids. Her recent additions, son Verse and daughter Valley, are her last. She revealed on her Barely Famous podcast that she had a tubal ligation following the birth of her twins with boyfriend Elijah Scott. “I got a tubal,” she said. “They cut my tubes out.”
The MTV star had previously hinted that her family was complete. But now, she’s got tangible proof. She underwent the procedure just minutes after giving birth to her sixth son and first daughter. She even asked to see the removed piece of her fallopian tube. “They’re definitely longer than I thought they were,” she joked.
She did admit to a fleeting moment of regret. Still, she feels that seven is her lucky number. “I didn’t know, before I had seven kids, how a person would know if they’re done having children,” she mused. The Delaware-based podcaster became certain after her son Creed, now 3, joined his older brothers Isaac, 14, Lincoln, 10, and Lux, 6. She started saying, “I’m done, I’m done, I’m done, I don’t want any more kids.” She said this publicly, privately, and even in her own head.
