Exploit discovered that allows Kenshi to refresh the Sento Stance's ancestor puppet after taking a hit in Mortal Kombat 1

Kenshi is generally regarded as one of the best characters in Mortal Kombat 1. This is mostly due to how his Sento Stance is capable of temporarily turning Kenshi into a puppet character.

To prevent Sento Stance from getting too out of hand, the developers added a few countermeasures that players can take advantage of against an opposing Kenshi player using Sento Stance. However, it turns out that there may be an unintentional way of circumventing one of the main ways of dealing with the stance.

Normally, the ancestor puppet summoned by Sento Stance can be momentarily disabled by attacking it. Upon doing so, the ancestor will kneel to the ground before it’s ready to resume receiving commands from the Kenshi user.

Strangely, this kneeling animation can be canceled out of if the Kenshi player performs a throw. The mere act of whiffing a throw while the ancestor is in its kneeling state will refresh activity for the puppet.

As one might expect, this exploit makes Kenshi an even better character in specific situations. More than likely, this is an exploit that NetherRealm Studios will address in a future patch.
