Sofia Richie is stepping into a fresh phase of her life. She and her partner, Elliot Grainge, are excitedly awaiting their first child, a baby girl.
The announcement was made on January 25th. Sofia shared her news with Vogue, and even showcased her growing baby bump during a photoshoot with the magazine.
She discovered her pregnancy quite early on. “I was barely four weeks along,” she explained. At the time, she was in Milan for fashion week, attending the Prada show.
Her trip was a whirlwind, lasting only 24 hours. Despite feeling unwell, she brushed it off as jet lag. After all, she’d just flown in for the event.
Once she returned to Los Angeles, the 25-year-old decided to take a pregnancy test. Sofia had been trying to conceive with Elliot, a music executive, since their wedding in April.
Elliot was no stranger to her taking tests randomly. “He didn’t bat an eye when I said I was testing again,” she recalled. She used a basic at-home test, and noticed a faint line.
“I was so used to negatives,” Sofia admitted. “But this time, something looked a bit different.”
