Executive Secretary to Production
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Advising, Controlling and Prioritizing activities of PPF (Plant Engineering) in Production facilities, General Infrastructure, Civil, Fire Protection and in Maintenance to ensure compliance to Legal requirements
- Ensuring that all machinery and equipment is installed and maintained in accordance with the OHS Act and other National and Local Regulations
- Ensuring compliance with VW Group risk Management processes (Ricors, BCM, ECMS, Insurance etc.)
- Ensuring all NMB Municipal certificates and permits are valid and renewed when necessary. (Occupational Certificates, Flammable liquid permits, Electrical Contractors registration with ECB, etc

- Closing working relationship with OHSE Department and Wellness Centre re. Occupational Hygiene assessments and action plans. (Air Quality, illumination, Legionella etc.)
- Identifying, prioritizing and issuing training needs analysis to ensure continued legal compliance of technical and managerial personnel to the requirements of the OHS Act and Regulations
- Promote company objectives with respect to meeting customer needs in compliance, safety, quality, timing and costs.
Education and Experience
- BSc Engineering / BTech Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
- 5 Years Post Graduate experience in a Maintenance / Planning / Risk positionwith 2 years minimum in Manufacturing.
Skills, Attributes & Other requirements
ESSENTIAL:
- Experience in Risk Management and prioritization of risk projects.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act Regulations.
- Sound knowledge of Equipment and Facility approval to the relevant legal requirements.
