Today we’d like to introduce you to Victor Catrina.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
When I was 13, I started teaching and selling graphic design on YouTube and made enough money to buy my first custom PC, which sparked my entrepreneurial journey. Unfortunately, that only lasted a few years as I suddenly and inexplicably lost access to my channel so I took a break from YouTube and tried some other business models.
From there, I tried venture after venture attempting all the most common hustles such as Dropshipping, Sales, Amazon FBA, and even a vending machine business. Nothing worked until I stumbled across SMMA (Social Media Marketing Agency) which I was able to scale to 10k/month before losing it all when the pandemic hit.
Funny enough, almost as a sign from God, right after my agency crumbled I received an email from YouTube stating that I had randomly regained access to my channel, a short 9 years later.
Fast forward to today – I now run multiple channels earning $10k+ per month and have helped over 500 students who have implemented the systems I created to build passive, and profitable YouTube channels. They all now do this without having to create their own videos, let alone show their face online!
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
One of the biggest challenges I first had to face as a self-made entrepreneur, was having the first four businesses I started, completely fail. Dropshipping was supposed to be an “easy” business, but you’re never made aware of the absurd amount of overhead, constant returns, account shutdowns & bans, and that you would be lucky to have over 20% margins. Then, I tried Amazon FBA, which was essentially just burning a large pile of cash. Got into the vending machine business as it was supposed to be a “passive” income stream, but my reality became daily runs to the grocery store, nonstop filling up machines, and ended up making less than I would’ve made working minimum wage – how ironic.
Lastly, my marketing agency which although I did scale to 6-figures for about 2 years, turned out to be a golden shackle business. I had 10+ bosses (each client) and had 0 freedom, 0 time control, consistent turnover, and to this day, the reason for the white hairs I deal with. All was financially well until the pandemic hit and I lost 95% of my revenue within 2 months.
Like any other successful entrepreneur, I have faced unexpected challenges frequently. I truly believe that they are necessary for growth. Looking back, I don’t regret any of the business mistakes I’ve made, because they have led me to the success I see today.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I specialize in helping people start and scale automated YouTube channels without showing their face. YouTube is one of the only real passive business models out there, where you can completely outsource the workflow through an assembly line of tasks. Then, you simply get paid through Adsense, whenever someone watches your video. There are also other methods you can implement to maximize revenue far past what YouTube directly pays.
This business is one that is truly passive, and unlimitedly scalable.
While there are a few 18-22 year-old’s out there who claim that if you pay them $10k-$100k they will set up a channel for you that is “supposed” to generate income, the unfortunate reality is that over 90% of these channels will never generate enough to even come close to recouping the initial investment, let alone become profitable. You can search for these horror stories as they’re all over online.
The content on these channels are almost always terrible, as there is little incentive for these “gurus” to actually put in any effort since they get paid upfront for the service.
I take a different approach, and actually teach my students how to set up their channels for success, and fully automate them.
I believe in my methods so strongly that I have a money-back guarantee. If you apply all my teachings, and your channel isn’t generating revenue within the first 45 videos posted, I’ll give you a full refund.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
I would say my best advice for someone getting into YouTube now, would be to focus on quality over quantity. There are a LOT of misconceptions regarding what works and how much you should be posting, but I can confidently tell you that quality is king.
I strictly enforce quality videos with all my students and this is why they are far surpassing the competition. The second thing would be to learn and master human psychology. Studying how to trigger people, convince them to click on your videos, and further entice them to watch until the end – this is the true secret to virality with YouTube.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
The definition of success in my eyes has changed over the years.
It started off as a measure of the money I made. But that changed when I was stuck working 10-14 hours/day on my marketing agency to make “good” money.
Then it changed to the ability to have the freedom to spend my time the way that I want and to find success in other aspects of my life like health and relationships.
I am now able to provide an incredible life for my family and I.
I’ve been able to hire my mom and my 2 best friends to work with me, which has been such a blessing, and they are all helping me achieve my goals and fulfill my mission.
This has all shifted my mentality to be able to help others breed the life of their dreams as I did.
I measure success not just monetarily, but rather through impact – It’s not only about how much I earn, but how many people I have helped along the way.
What’s next for you?
I’ve essentially fired myself from all the tasks that used to steal my time, and now have fully committed myself to coaching others who want to start making money online through their YouTube automation journey. I plan to personally take on over 1000 people by the end of next year and help them all build a true passive income machine through YouTube.
