Every reward in the Get Ready for Ed Fighting Pass for Street Fighter 6, which offers even less for free users than usual

Although Ed won’t arrive as the next DLC character for Street Fighter 6 until the end of the month, players can start preparing for his homecoming in the game now.

Capcom added the Get Ready for Ed Fighting Pass in today’s update for SF6, which means a bunch of new items are available to unlock.

As per usual, there’s the free version of the pass with 20 levels and the premium version with 30 levels to complete with separate reward tiers, but there are some changes from previous times.

They cut the two Rental Fighter Tickets from the start of the free pass in favor of a sticker, which is alright since a lot of players have probably maxed out on them by now.

That also means, however, the amount of free rewards has dropped down to just six instead of the typical eight, making the SF6 pass look even less generous than Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising’s unfortunately.

Premium pass purchasers will still receive items for all 30 levels with the usual mix of stickers, avatar gear themed around Ed, Street Fighter 5 music, titles, backgrounds and Captain Commando as the classic arcade game to keep.

Pricing and required Kudos for leveling up remains the same with the premium pass costing 250 Fighter Coins or basically $5, which can be earned back by completing the 30 levels.

It also appears that Neo Shadaloo is still going to play a part in Ed’s story considering they gave the organization a new logo used in multiple of the available items.

The Ed themed Fighting Pass will be available through February 22 though Ed boy himself will not launch until February 27 after Capcom Cup X.
