Street Fighter 6 just celebrated its first birthday this week, so of course Capcom gave the game a sizable anniversary update for the special occasion.
Part of said update included a collection of new and previously exclusive costume color options now available to everyone in SF6 — though there’s another almost no one has access to.
Capcom added Outfit 1 color 10 options for the base roster of 18 characters since Rashid, A.K.I., Ed and Akuma already came with 10 for their costumes.
Previously, this color was only available for players who pre-ordered SF6, but even then, it only came with the outfits for Ken, Juri, Jamie, Manon, Dee Jay, and Chun-Li.
That means Blanka, Cammy, Dhalsim, E. Honda, Guile, JP, Kimberly, Lily, Luke, Marisa, Ryu, and Zangief now have brand new colors too on top of those previous ones being opened up for everyone.
Color 10 costs the same as all the prior default ones at 50 Fighter Coins ($1) or 1,000 Drive Tickets each.
As we correctly predicted, Capcom replaced the original color bundles for the main roster to now include option 10 though that also gave the package deals a bump in price too to 360 FC ($7.20) / 7,200 DT instead of 315 FC ($6.30) / 6,300 DT.
On top of that, it appears Capcom quietly added the exclusive Juri Outfit 1 color to the game for those who correctly predicted UMA would win Capcom Cup in the Street Voter event earlier this year.
It’s called color EX 01 and changes Juri’s hair and main outfit color to white with gold, black and orange accents.
According to SF6’s anniversary infographics, fewer than 300 players guessed correctly, so that makes it by far the rarest piece of content someone can own in SF6 currently.
Capcom appears to have quietly sneaked the Juri Capcom Cup color into the Akuma balance update without saying anything.
It’s still not as rare, however, as the exclusive Capcom Cup winner costume variants in Street Fighter 5 and other special colors given away for winning special tournaments.
