With Street Fighter 6’s big Season 2 balance update, the very same that added Akuma to the game’s roster as DLC, every fighter on the cast saw changes — for better or for worse.
For the most part, everyone got something new to work with (even if they did receive nerfs), and these new changes are the focus of Desk’s latest showcase. This time, the combo connoisseur gives everyone some time in the spotlight with this new “all character” combo and comparison video that not only features an amazing combo for every single fighter, but also gives us some side-by-side comparison with Season 1 to show what several of the balance changes look like.
Throughout this combo exhibition, Desk puts an emphasis on some of the most interesting changes each character received. For someone like Guile, his combo here revolves around the new buff to Overdrive Sonic Blade, which launches the opponent a bit higher and allows for the classic zoner to juggle afterwards.
Someone like Ed, however, who didn’t really get anything new combo-wise, is also featured here. “Ed doesn’t have new stuff but I put a combo in there anyway,” Desk said about his sequence, which is equally as impressive as the other combos in this video.
