Member representing Calabar South/Akpabuyo/Bakassi Federal Constituency Rt. Hon. Apostle Essien Ekpenyong Ayi has concluded plans to receive thousands of defectors from both the Labour Party and the APC across the three Local Governments in Cross River State who are in solidarity to the course and in full allegiance to deliver the PDP.
Ayi made this known while addressing members of the central planning committee in a meeting today at the campaign secretariat.
Our correspondence have also garnered that the MP is planning a power pack event to unleash the full potentials of his party’s tenacity to deliver across board in his constituency as he reaches out to various interest and support groups within the region.
The campaign launch which is scheduled for tomorrow Saturday 19 January 2019 at his campaign secretariat at Calabar Road is expected to play host to the Governor of Cross River State Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade who is also a candidate of the party.
Other dignitaries to grace the occasion and show their strength of support are: Sen. Gershom Bassey – Senator Southern Senatorial District and Senatorial candidate for the rerun 2019, Party Stalwarts, Elders, Union leaders etc.
