Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Business Development

  • Lead the strategy and execution of business development initiatives targeting enterprise clients, focusing on identifying opportunities, cultivating relationships, and closing high-value deals.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to shape business strategies and develop tailored client offerings.

Business Analysis & Process Optimization

  • Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into actionable insights and detailed project documentation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and elevate client service.

Project Management

  • Serve as the primary link between business/clients and the technical team, ensuring alignment on project goals.
  • Oversee enterprise projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Effectively use tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) to track progress, manage risks, and maintain stakeholder communication.

Stakeholder Engagement & Vendor Management

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders, including C-suite executives, government officials, and vendors, ensuring their needs are effectively addressed.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes, ensuring vendor performance and long-term partnerships.

Risk & Compliance Management

  • Ensure all activities comply with legal, regulatory, and internal policies, particularly in procurement and contract management.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to safeguard project success.

Market Research & Strategic Planning

  • Conduct in-depth market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support strategic planning and long-term business growth.

Key Requirements

Essential

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise business development or B2B sales.
  • Strong skills in business analysis, project management, and process optimization.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and negotiate high-value contracts.
  • Experience working in ambiguous, quickly scaling environments, comfortable with high-agency.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Experience working in Enterprise SaaS and/or FinTech.
  • Demonstrated business sense with ownership and ability to scale mechanisms.
  • Experience in market research and strategic decision-making.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and successfully implementing GTM strategies for new products.
  • Prior experience at a growth stage Internet/software company.
  • Expert in objection handling through negotiation cycles.
  • Can sell and communicate the vision for one-of-a-kind use cases.
