Enloe retains Best Regional Hospitals honor

For a fifth year, Enloe Health was named among the Best Regional Hospitals by U.S. News and World Report.

The medical center placed 49th in California, according to a press release Wednesday from Enloe Health. Seventy hospitals in California (17% of all evaluated)  and 466 hospitals across the country (11%) received the distinction.

Enloe rated as high-performing in nine adult procedures and conditions, in addition to the honor as 2024 High Performing Hospital for maternity care received in December. Enloe earned acclaim for heart failure, colon cancer screening, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hip replacement, kidney failure, knee replacement, leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, pneumonia and stroke.

“Enloe Health’s caregivers continuously demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional care,” Enloe president/CEO Mike Wiltermood said in the announcement. “That’s what makes these achievements possible. This recognition inspires us to continue working toward excellence and our vision of delivering exceptional health care experiences.”
