Most of the players that play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate even semi competitively probably don’t pay too much attention, if any at all, to the Spirits portion of the game. Of course, those that do look into collecting the game’s 1,528 Spirits are sure to find some interesting comparisons.
As it turns out, Empress Bulblax, a boss within the Pikmin series that’s hardly even a threat, is extremely powerful as a main Spirit equip in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as odd as that may seem. Over on Twitter, MickBro compiled a rather hilarious list of characters that Empress Bulblax is apparently more powerful than.
According to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Empress Bulblax has a power level of 11,982 at level 99. This is actually fairly high as far as main Spirits go.
Needless to say, Empress Bulblax’s power level is high enough to exceed Arceus’ 10,030 power level at level 99. For those that don’t know, Arceus is revered as something of a god within the Pokémon universe.
Going down the list, Empress Bulblax is also apparently stronger than Fierce Deity Link, Geno, Omega Ridley, Tabuu (the final boss of Super Smash Bros. Brawl), Super Sonic, Beast Ganon, Sigma, Heihachi Mishima, M. Bison, Mega Man Zero, Andross, and many more.
Funnily enough, Empress Bulblax’s power level even dwarfs that of Goku’s. More specifically, Empress Bulbax is much higher up the list compared to Goku & Chao’s power level 4,274, who hail from the Japan exclusive Famicom Mukashibanashi: Yūyūki.
