“It was a birthday gift,” she casually mentioned. “I’d been on the hunt for Leggy Jill for over a year. Then, out of nowhere, my boyfriend surprised me with her.”
Cody, however, was not exactly thrilled with what happened next. Emma decided to take Leggy Jill out of the box. “If you’re gonna collect dolls, you might as well enjoy them,” she reasoned.
Emma, a mother to a 3-year-old son named Rhodes, has a real passion for her dolls. She confessed to AD, “I’m madly obsessed with them. Totally head over heels.”
Her love for dolls extends to her home decor as well. She wanted her house to have a dollhouse vibe. “This house,” she said, “it’s like a grown-up dollhouse. It’s very storybook.”
When she moved in, it was just her and Rhodes. “I wanted this to be our house,” she explained. “A place filled with our memories and our love, reflecting our unique style.”
She laughed, “Minimalism? Not really my thing.” She confessed, “Every house I’ve ever lived in feels a bit like a cabinet of curiosities.”
