Dallas and Goodwin’s love story is nothing short of a fairy tale. They first crossed paths on the set of ABC’s hit fantasy series, Once Upon a Time. In a twist of fate, they were cast as Prince Charming and Snow White.
Dallas vividly recalls the moment he fell for Goodwin. Speaking to People in 2012, he said, “It hit me like a blinding light.” He humorously added, “I thought, ‘I’m in trouble now.’”
Goodwin, on the other hand, had her eureka moment at Disneyland. It was their first date, and she was introducing Dallas to the magic of the theme park. “I knew that in fact I was going to marry my husband Josh at Disneyland,” she later shared with Kelly Ripa.
She explained how Dallas’s joy on their Disneyland date sealed the deal for her. “We were on Big Thunder Mountain and he threw his arms in the air and he goes, ‘This is the best day of my life’,” she recalled. “And I was like, ‘We’re totally getting married.’”
Fast forward to October 2013, Dallas proposed. They exchanged vows in April 2014. Today, they are proud parents to two boys, Oliver, 9, and Hugo, 6.
Dallas, now a star on Manifest, yearns to work with Goodwin again. Their six-year stint on Once Upon a Time was a memorable one. “She’s the greatest. I miss working with her every day,” he confessed on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
However, he also revealed Goodwin’s playful reluctance. “I think she was like, ‘look, we’ve worked together and we’ve lived together six years, give me a break.’ But I think we’ll work together again, I hope so.”
