Lytup Power Systems Inc is building the most efficient, safe and sustainable residential we battery energy storage solutions based on lithium-ion , and battery thermal management system (BTMS) technologies. Our vision is to electrify Sub-Saharan Africa and eventually other regions of the world struggling to access power by providing small and medium battery systems coupled with PV technology that possess a lifespan of up to fifteen (15) years. Key Responsibilities:
Test and validate the communication between IoT systems, batteries, and our Energy Management System.
Develop and maintain embedded systems for optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate with back-end and front end engineers to ensure seamless integration of embedded systems.
Soldering and other hands-on tasks.
Program and test embedded systems, with a specific focus on the Battery Management System (BMS) and BTMS .
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to embedded systems and IoT communication.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Embedded Systems Engineer.
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Previous experience in Solar IoT systems is highly desirable.
Proven experience in the development of very smart embedded systems.
Familiarity with lithium-ion battery technologies and Battery Thermal Management Systems (BTMS).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with Solar IoT systems.
Experience in Battery Management System (BMS) programming and testing.
Proficiency in 3D design tools like SolidWorks and Autodesk Fusion 360 (a plus).
