Job Type: Full-time (Alimosho LGA, Amuwo Odofin LGA, Oshodi-Isolo LGA, Ojo LGA)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced educator to teach coding and robotics to elementary and primary school students (grades K-6). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, experience working with children, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach coding and robotics concepts to students in grades K-6
  • Develop and implement interactive lesson plans, aligning with curriculum standards
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment
  • Encourage students to explore STEM fields and critical thinking
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate coding and robotics into cross-curricular projects
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in coding and robotics education

Requirements:

  • Applicants must reside on the Lagos Mainland Environ (Alimosho LGA, Amuwo Odofin LGA, Oshodi-Isolo LGA, Ojo LGA)
  • Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Computer Science, Education, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience teaching coding and robotics to elementary/primary school students
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Scratch, Python, HTML,  JavaScript)
  • Experience with robotics platforms 
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and styles
  • Certification in teaching or education (desired)
