Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced educator to teach coding and robotics to elementary and primary school students (grades K-6). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, experience working with children, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.
Responsibilities:
- Teach coding and robotics concepts to students in grades K-6
- Develop and implement interactive lesson plans, aligning with curriculum standards
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage students to explore STEM fields and critical thinking
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate coding and robotics into cross-curricular projects
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in coding and robotics education
Requirements:
- Applicants must reside on the Lagos Mainland Environ (Alimosho LGA, Amuwo Odofin LGA, Oshodi-Isolo LGA, Ojo LGA)
- Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Computer Science, Education, or related field
- 2+ years of experience teaching coding and robotics to elementary/primary school students
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Scratch, Python, HTML, JavaScript)
- Experience with robotics platforms
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and styles
- Certification in teaching or education (desired)
