Manchester United are current looking to Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike to help boost their attack.
The 22-year-old striker has joined United’s shortlist to bring an in-form goal scorer to Old Trafford in the summer.
However he isn’t the only Frankfurt star that United have been interested in this season.
Last summer, The Red Devils were targeting Frankfurt goalkeeper Kaua Santos, even going so far to contact the Bundesliga club.
Bild has reported that Santos snubbed United, instead extending his contract with the German club from 2028 to 2030.
The 21-year-old is reportedly being billed as the successor to Alison Becker and Ederson for the Brazil national team.
With both goalkeepers being some of the world’s best, it’s a big statement to his potential being tipped to be the next in line for Brazil.
