The Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon.Somtochukwu Udeze has enjoined Muslims in the state to continue to give maximum support to the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo especially by maintaining peace and order.
Felicitating with Muslims as they celebrate the feast of Eid-el-maulud, Udeze called on them to always champion the unity, peace and progress of the country.
The Speaker who noted that since no religion preaches violence or immorality, charged Muslims to eschew acts capable of disintegrating the country or causing dissatisfaction among the people.
He urged them to use their religion to promote ethical values and those things that will make the country stronger in terms of development and social welfare.

The Speaker, commended Governor Soludo for providing an enabling environment for Muslims in the state to propagate their faith and also earn a living, urging them to join hands with the Governor in achieving maximum security of lives and property of the citizenry.
The message was contained in a statement signed and made available to journalists in Awka on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Emma Madu.
