Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abuja Zonal Directorate, have arrested 24 suspected internet fraudsters in Lokoja, Kogi state.
According to a statement released by the commission’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, the suspects were apprehended on Friday, following credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.
The statement included the recovery of 30 phones, 6 laptops, and 3 cars.
The anti-graft agency said the suspects will be made to face the law as soon as investigations are completed.
