Eddie Hearn revealed that Dana White sent him messages over the potential clash between Anthony Joshua’s rematch with Oleksandr Usyk and a UFC event in London.
The UFC announced that it would be heading back to the capital again on July 23 after a successful event back in March.

Tom Aspinall and Darren Till will headline, but fans of both MMA and boxing will know that July 23 could potentially be a significant date.
It is when AJ will likely bid to claim back his heavyweight world titles from Ukrainian Usyk, meaning the events could go head-to-head.
Matchroom chief Hearn, who will be putting on the AJ vs Usyk fight, says he has been in conversations with the UFC chief.
“Dana messaged me two days ago and said ‘look, are you going July 23?’ I said possibly,” Hearn told The Mac Life.
“He said ‘we’re going July 23 in London, would you want me to move it. What do you think?’
“We’ve got a good relationship and I’m sure he’s not thinking about our business, but he’s being courteous.

“I said if we go then it will be 9pm main event, because that date would be a Middle East date.
“He said that it’s so hard to get a venue, and it is. Do your thing and whatever you need to do.
“We’re not confirmed for July 23, if we do go July 23 then we will speak to Dana and make sure the bulks of the main event don’t clash and it’s good to have that relationship.
“He asked me about Canelo and there’s a UFC event next weekend, is there a conversation to be had there.
