The flare of the auto car accident that happened on the 28th of June along Ikom-Calabar Highway at Obioko Ijiman in Ugep, Yakurr LGA, claiming the life of a school pupil and injuring two of her siblings is still in the rage as angry youth are seriously in hunt for the driver of the vehicle.
The driver whose name was later found to one Mr. Etowa, a mechanic apprentice was conducting a test drive for one Honda Accord car with plate number AWK 638 AE after working on the vehicle. Etowa was said to have missed control from road, leaving his lane to kill two chickens before bumping into a group of school children, crushing one who was a girl to death and leaving her other two siblings seriously injured.
The school pupils were said to the children of one Mr. Okoi from Ugep. The crushed girl was immediately taken to her Father’s compound and was buried while her two siblings were rushed to a nearby hospital undergoing treatment.
The bloody incident called up youths who vandalised the vehicle and now in hunt for the driver. One them said in a angry voice that;
“We’ll pieces the man when we catch him and burn him to death to suffer the pains of the innocent girl he killed”
