Responsible for conveying employees and transporting tools and equipment
Maintaining good condition of company vehicles
Conveying People and Errands

Typical Duties / Responsibilities

Pick up and drop employees off at destination.
Obtain clarity on route and destination before moving vehicle.
Drive carefully on the road with passenger(s) at heart.
Running relevant and authorized Company errands.

Transporting Goods and Materials:

Safely and carefully load and transport goods to and fro.
Report immediately any damage occurrences to Logistics / HR & Admin departments which occurred during the transportation process.
Ensure goods are delivered in the same state they were loaded onto the car always.
Always check waybills in goods and materials handling.
Assist in on loading and off loading of goods and materials always.

Vehicle Movement:

Fill vehicle log book always; before moving the vehicle and when at destination.
Check engine oil, water level, tyre pressures and general vehicle condition before moving the car.
Ensure vehlcle is washed daily and interior thoroughly cleaned.
Strictly observe and adhere road signs on the road.
Adhere strictly to vehicle maintenance schedule.
Report faults to HR & Administrative manager immediately.
Fill fuel request form, have it approved before submitting for fuel.
Remind HR & Admin. Manager a month before road worthy and insurance sticker dates expire.

Health Safety & Environment:

All vehicle inspections must be done first thing in the morning upon arrival at work.
Do not over speed.
Do not convey or transport any unauthorize person or goods.
Do not ever move any vehicle with mechanical or electrical faults.
Report road accidents and incidents as well as police cases (arrests), immediately to HR & Admin. Manager.

Requirements
Education:

SSCE, NVTI or its equivalent.

Experience:

2 – 5 years of professional driving.

Technical Competencies:

Must have a valid drivers license.
Must live in Epe area.
Should have basic car maintenance.
Ability to interprets road sign and Maps.
Should have basic experience on defensive driving.

Leadership Competencies:

Possess personal qualities of integrity, respect, confidentiality, and commitment to corporate mission.
Must not drink.
Must not smoke.

Languages:

Fluency in languages: English.
