The State Chairman of National Association of Government General Medical & Dental Practitioners (NAGGMDP ), Cross River, Dr Freeman Jabengo, is a year older today.
The medical practitioner who doubles as the Director of Welfare of Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, in the state is a recipient of the Nigerian Humanitarian Icon Award (NIHIA) conferred on him by the Nigerian National Merit Award Committee in conjunction with Our Majesty Global Publication in Abuja on 26th of August 2017. https://www.negroidhaven.org/2017/09/dr-freeman-jabengo-conferred-with.html?m=1
Dr Jabengo on the 19th of August last year was inducted into the Fellowship of the Institute of Human and Natural Resources of Nigeria (IHNR) at the Diamond Hall of Transcorp Hotels, Calabar for his dexterity as a health professional such that he was again awarded the prestigious Integrity in Professionalism Award (IPA) 2017.

The Institute of Human and Natural Resources of Nigeria, IHNRN has said concerning Jabengo thus: ‘We must admit that this award is only a recognition of the degree of relevance you have etched in your profession hitherto.’
Jabengo is the leader of the Iroko Movement Worldwide, an organisation aimed at emancipating the political voice of the voiceless and building capacity of the youths in Cross River in particular and Nigeria in general.
