Karina:“I think it should be if the child is old enough to think for themselves, and if their parents allow them the freedom of choosing what to put in their body, then the decision is up to the child. But at the same time, when it comes to certain job facilities and education places, that’s where it obviously may be needed. But for me personally, I would not vaccinate my kid.” Savanna:“I honestly think that it should be because it’s already enforced within everything that we do, and every job literally requires you to be vaccinated at some point. But then there are those jobs that don’t require it. So, if you’re going toward those fields, and if you want your child to be in those fields where they would need it, I would say, then do that for your kid. But you can’t really control what an adult wants to do with their kid, but at the same time, think about the future of your kid and whether you think that’s best for them or not to be vaccinated. And, if you want to stay precautious and updated with things, I would say, why not?” Appollonia:“I believe that it’s important that children have their shots at a young age to enter childcare facilities, as well as transitioning to the big schools. I feel that it’s important because there are many of us who have illnesses that aren’t contagious, but we want to make sure we’re safe. So, I’m very sensitive to my staff, as well as the other children who may need that extra support, and I would think shots are wonderful.” Amari:“I say yes because younger children tend to not know what is best for them in terms of healthcare, and they are more accepting of having sicknesses come in. So, yes, I feel like vaccines should be administered to them when they are at a younger age so they can prevent the spreading of illnesses.” Jaida:“I absolutely believe that children, young children, still need to be vaccinated to enter schools. I feel like if the flu can get passed around with one kid and infect the toddler room, the staff, the preschool room, the preschool classroom, and the after-school kids, yes, it stops the spread of stuff. At the bare minimum, kids don’t know how to take care of each other. It is up to the parents to make sure that the kids take care of each other. We’re all in a space together. At least have some kind of protection to help your body. Like, I can’t help your mental for everything. I can’t help your physical for everything. But when it comes to your own personal health, help yourself help your kids.” Fowzia:“Yes and no. There are some vaccines that are necessary for kids and can protect them from many different things, but, for example, the COVID-19 vaccine, I don’t think is good for kids. There are just some types of vaccines that people need and some that others don’t need.” Source General News World
